The short version: SafeOrbit does not log your searches, does not build user profiles, and does not require an account. Your searches are anonymous. Your history and saved Spaces exist only on your device.
Searches are not linked to any account, identity, or persistent user profile. When you search on SafeOrbit, your query is used to fetch results and generate an AI answer. We do not store, log, or retain your search queries in conjuction with your identity after your request is processed.
SafeOrbit does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. You can use the service entirely anonymously.
SafeOrbit uses open-source AI models to generate search summaries and conversational answers via Orbit Insights. Your query and relevant web context are passed to the AI model to generate a response. The AI model only receives the text of your query — it has no access to your identity, device, or history, and no user profiling is performed at any stage.
AI-generated responses are processed transiently. We do not retain conversation content after a response is returned.
SafeOrbit uses third-party infrastructure to power web search and AI processing. These providers receive only the text of your query — no access to your identity, device, or history, and no user profiling is performed at any stage. We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics platforms.
Dive Deeper conversations exist only in your browser's session memory and are cleared when you close or refresh the page. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Spaces — saved AI conversations — are stored entirely in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded to any server and are only accessible from the device and browser where they were saved.
Your recent search history is stored locally in your browser for your convenience. It is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time from the results page.
SafeOrbit does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, cross-site fingerprinting, or any third-party analytics scripts. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tools.
To protect the service from automated abuse, bots, and bad actors, SafeOrbit employs server-side abuse protection. As part of this, IP addresses may be temporarily recorded to enforce rate limits and block malicious traffic. IP addresses used for abuse protection are not linked to your searches, are not stored alongside any query content, and are not used for profiling or tracking. Temporary records are automatically purged. This measure exists solely to keep the service available for genuine users.
SafeOrbit provides links to third-party websites in search results. Once you leave SafeOrbit, your interactions are governed by the privacy policy of the destination site. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for external sites.
SafeOrbit is not directed at children. Users under 18 are advised to use the service with adult supervision. We do not collect personal information from any user. Technical data such as IP addresses may be temporarily processed for abuse protection purposes only, as described in Section 8.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
